Kushikatsu means…Kushikatsu, also known as kushiage, is a Japanese dish of deep-fried skewered meat and vegetables. In Japanese, kushi refers to the skewers used while katsu means a deep-fried cutlet of meat. Kushikatsu is a traditional foods especially in Osaka and is said it has more than 90 years history. Cutting to bite size various ingredients such as meats, fish, vegetables…etc and skewer them, pickle them special batter, fry them finally.
The operating company “KUSHIKATSU ARATA” has another restaurant business “Ramen restaurant” as franchisee. Arata has come to think “we want prepare a new workplace for aging employees”, for that Arata had to make a new brand that could operate by easy operation. On the other hand, almost all the traditional kushikatsu restaurant is so dirty and cooking while smoking. Therefore it’s so hard for women/girls to enjoy a meal. Arata solved those problem by their restaurant concept.
