Privé was born from pure generosity, a whole-hearted sentiment that fuels all the staffs and managers of Privé. We first came to Vietnam a few years ago with my husband and our two dogs. I have spent a couple hundred dollars in salons and spas in Vietnam but I never felt like the service was really worth the money. In Asia, hygiene is pretty much of a big deal and much was left to be done. Products are often fake, and service is most of the time non-existing for tourists because of the “they won’t come back anyways”. I have experienced being ripped off and many others too. The experience of a luxury spa and nails was yet to be found. After a while, we decided to create a new concept of nails & spa with my hubby. We wanted a place where families and travelers could relax, businesswomen (and men) could enjoy some tranquil time out of the crowd of the busy megacity. We wanted a place where respect for our Guests and highest level of services go together. We wanted to reshape the industry, create new standards of hygiene and offer something different to the lovely people around us. We wanted a place where Guests satisfaction would always come first. This is who we are. This is our philosophy.

Cindy Chung (Founder & Beautician) A Saigon native who lived and studied esthetics in Toronto, Canada. After receiving her education in esthetics, she received hands on experience by working in some of Toronto’s top spas. In November of 1996, YKC opened its doors for the first time. After several years of being in business, Cindy noticed that YKC’s original facility was unable to accommodate to its quickly growing clientele. In March of 2001, YKC celebrated the new millennium with the opening of a much larger facility in order to provide premier service to its growing clientele. YKC prides itself in being a world class premier spa with the efficiency of a large spa and the nimbleness of a small one. With over 16 years of experience, Cindy is still very meticulous with YKC and personally trains the entire staff herself. It is also very important to her that her staff is like one big family so that when customers arrive they feel at home. Cindy strives to set YKC apart from any other spa through its extraordinary service. YKC staff strives to be extremely sensitive to your needs while making the extra effort in order to provide you with the utmost pleasant experience possible. “If you’re thirsty, we’ll pour you a drink and if you’re hungry, we’ll serve you a snack.” This is just a small example of the kind of service Cindy teaches her staff, service that touches the heart…
